그리드큐어가 한국서부발전 R&D 과제 「AI 기반 발전소 특고압 케이블 예측진단 시스템 개발」에 참여한다. 발전소 특고압 케이블은 고장이 나면 발전 설비 정지로 이어질 수 있어, 운전 중 케이블 상태를 상시 진단하고 이상 징후를 미리 파악하는 기술의 필요성이 커지고 있다.

■ 154kV 케이블 시스템 설치 및 시범 운영

그리드큐어는 한국서부발전 군산발전본부의 154kV 케이블에 진단 센서를 설치하고, 2026년 11월부터 2027년 5월까지 총 6개월간 시범 운영할 예정이다. 이를 통해 실제 발전소 운전 환경에서 시스템의 진단 성능과 현장 적용성을 검증할 계획이다.

GridCure to Pilot 154kV Cable Diagnostic System at KOWEPO Gunsan Power Plant

■ Participation in KOWEPO R&D Project

GridCure is participating in the R&D project "Development of an AI-Based Predictive Diagnostic System for Extra-High-Voltage Cables in Power Plants," led by Korea Western Power Co., Ltd. (KOWEPO). A failure in a power plant's extra-high-voltage cable can lead to a shutdown of generating equipment, driving growing demand for technology that continuously monitors cable condition during operation and detects early signs of abnormalities.

■ Installation and Pilot Operation on 154kV Cables

GridCure will install diagnostic sensors on the 154kV cables at KOWEPO's Gunsan Power Plant and operate the system on a pilot basis for six months, from November 2026 to May 2027. Through this pilot, the company plans to verify the system's diagnostic performance and field applicability in an actual power plant operating environment.
